Water Needs
Likes consistently lightly moist soil but dislikes soggy roots. Allow the top inch of soil to dry before watering again.
Key indicator: Droopy leaves often mean it's thirsty. Yellowing leaves may indicate too much water.
Light Needs
Prefers bright, indirect light. Think "luxury tropical resort" rather than "full desert sun." Too little light can slow growth, while harsh direct sun may scorch the leaves.

NO - Alocasias contain insoluble calcium oxalate crystals and are considered toxic to cats and dogs if ingested.
